...tool shows no faults. The van requires a new SOS Module and this will cost £860 + VAT!!! However it appears that some magic can be done on software to delete it removing the error. I'm hopeful this will work. I will update so people who have the same issue can have some options to work with
As title, if I plump for coilovers without a dcc delete kit to start with, with a view to add it later due to funds, what happens? Just annoying bong when key on and fault light during driving? Or is there going be a repeated bonging to drive anyone crazy...
Cheers

The EGR/adblue delete is quite popular and the van will regen as normal. Personal experience is you'll have EGR/adblue issues before DPF issues but others may disagree
Its 100% safe but like @Dellmassive rightly points out, it's also 100% illegal
...short journeys. I will regen as frequently 50 miles. I consume oil at a rate of 1L per 2000 miles which contributes to my soot build up.
I’d delete my dpf in a heartbeat but obviously there’s MOT issues associated with that.
Currently exploring a delete, with a yearly refit of a dpf just...
Where does the soot go when not recirculated by the EGR? Through the DPF, that's where. We all know what's in store next store, don't we?
My Son found this out on his Audi A5, so fitted a Darkside DPF delete pipe as well. Obviously doing this has MOT implications, but we all know a man...
...for you guys :D
I own a VW T6 2017 2.0 TDI (150 HP), 300,000 kilometers (186K miles)
I have a weird situation. I had both EGR and DPF deleted (none of the hardware removed) on my van and after that sometimes it would not start. No crank. If I would hold the key turned, it would crank but...
...really concerned since purchasing my CXEB EU6 204 BiTurbo 4Motion 2018 last December, now on 41,700mls
It went into RR yesterday for EGR blank/delete, DPF delete, Ad Blue delete. I am hoping this may save me some of these awful issues further down the road. I am low mileage user but will be...
The rf imob transponder in the key must be knackered then?.
You need all keys to delete and reprogram.... But if the van can't see that key. You won't be able to re add it.
As I've said elsewhere on here, I had the adblue system deleted on my near 11 year old Audi Q5 a few years ago and it's passed 3 MOT's (obvs with emissions tests) since without any drama. At the first sniff of adblue issue on my T6 once the warranty expires, it will be in for the snip at the...
The company that did the conversion dropped it off somewhere to be remapped before I picked it up as an optional extra.
My 2 years mechanical warranty I got with the van has ran out so I’m stuffed regardless
...to replace the lights and cable tie them out of the way if the coding won't accept. I'm surprised it won't tho'. I did a fog light function delete on my Amarok as I rewired them to work as addition high beam lights. I simply unticked 'front fog lights installed' in central electrics.
Have...
Dpf left in situ, though if I’m honest that will get deleted if it gives up the ghost. Primarily left in place due to obvious MOT concerns
New EGR June 23, coded out but not plated out.
...a non ad blue so I assume euro 5 and that’s the reason I’m not seeing it.
Just pricing up a remap for it and options are around $1300 for egr delete (I think this is just remapped out of the system) and approx $2500 for remap, egr and dpf delete with the dpf being gutted.
Necessary to spend...
Most likely if it is slow leak it is gasket, alternativly cheper to do EGR delete and blank on the air intake side, and problem should go away, This would be cheaper option, I paid 120 for egr delete and forget about egr issues
