Was it a pain in the backside when the dent was created?
If it's just the lining and insulation it shouldn't be an issue.
If the ply lining is dented then perhaps there is work you can do to hide it.
My floor was done professionally without insulation, reason being that any condensation / spillage will find it’s way to the lowest point.
Maybe it’s the insulation that’s the problem?
I’ve got a factory SWB 6.1 Kombi with twin sliding doors and tailgate (no bulkhead).
It’s standard in the back with bare paint and fibreboard panels.
A friend has done a couple of vans and works on luxury yacht interiors so we’re going to give it a go.
Can anyone help me with:

I’d insulate it personally. We have a gas heater in the van but, as the van is fully insulated, have never used it… even when camping in February in the UK.
Also, I find the van stays cooler for longer when parked up in full sun. Something that’s useful even if not camping - nobody likes a hot...
Welcome to the forum - Lovely van!
A quick remedy for the chrome grill would be to apply black (or red?) insulation tape along the chrome. It'll take the edge off the look until you source a replacement grill or clip on covers etc.
Another busy day (for me anyway). Started the sound deadening and thermal insulation. Completed rear quarter panels and tailgate. Now to get all the black stuff out from my finger nails

I’m going to be getting the Mobiframe floor and bench system. Has anyone put any sound deadening or insulation under the floor? Conscious it is already quite thick
Ceiling insulation
I insulated the walls of the van when I added the S+S Panels. But as heat rises I guessed a lot of the warmth was vanishing through the roof.
Decided to insulate the ceiling during a quiet weekend.
As the lights were difficult to disconnect I used some trestle tables to...

Worked well for about two years then got an Aurora LWB from Skyline HQ now we hear nothing from outside with Van-X curtains and pop top down or even just the bed board down for warmth.
I’ve got deadening, sound insulation and PET thermal insulation wherever I could get it in.
...cups which have made them easier to use. I’ve only used them for two trips away but they worked great and offer full blackout and good insulation.
I’ve recently changed to a magnetic version so these are for sale.
Collection ideal as posting will be expressive vs the sale price. Might make...
The other thing that might be of concern is the type of insulation. Things like loose wool can soak and wick it up and may not easily dry out. Closed foam and similar might be better.
