As MMI says, it may cause the DPF to not do regens, and if that is the case depending on how many miles you will do between now and June, I probably wouldn't leave it that long.
Same fault code - not sure if there is anything useful in these...

...going on since I mapped it and mapped out the egr. Lately the revs are now hunting when regenerating when I increase the revs and being stationary. I plan to take the dpf off soon soak it in dpf cleaner and jet wash it out in the opposite direction and see if it makes a difference on regen...
I have done 5k miles, I believe the matrix has been removed and all mapped out do you think the map could have failed?
Is the throttle valve position correct or is that something that could be caused by this?
...again using specialist tuning software , no luck .
Then they tried loading older software, still no luck .
I did not want to go down the DPF Delete route which was offered as an option .Which I DID NOT .
When the van was bought , the previous owner mentioned that they had Apple car play /...
Van is on 96k, original DPF i assume. No paperwork to suggest otherwise.
I've been reading the log on Carista, only gives soot levels.
How would you go about clearing ash residue? Premium fuels etc or DPF off and full flush?
When I had the DPF cleaned by a specialist he showed me the reading and it wasn’t that bad. It could well have been the cause of it though.
My DPF light came on briefly then went off again so I was none the wiser.
The van gets driven down the motorway but probably not enough.
Why wouldn’t the...
Thanks Dave, sorry might of confused things with too much waffle.
I’m confident the new DPF I fitted is fine and has the internals intact. It’s more that I’m sure it’s not regenerating.
Either because the map it’s running is preventing it, by keeping the soot values at 0 or it’s the...
...EGR min/max positions
Based on reference data in [T6_measured] 01-Engine - Built-in test for EGR - very good.
Differential pressure across the DPF
Fairly high pressures were observed - in comparison with data in [T6_measured] 01-Engine - Built-in test for EGR
Of course fairly high soot...
As far as I know Darkside Dev’ don’t map out and blank an EGR without removing the DPF. Obviously they assume you are only using the van ‘off road’.
The consequences are that if the DPF is found to ‘missing’ you will at least need to buy a new one £££, my advice is to keep the DPF if removed and...
...get used to the engine tone - and the revs will be higher when at idle.
If you have an Android device, another way to keep an eye on what the DPF is doing is to use the Torque app. I find this information useful to understand - since as alluded to above, my van also loves going into...
Has anyone had their front flexi on their exhaust replaced? My DPF is good but the flexi is going as seems to have pin holes forming can a new one be welded in or can it be sleeved?
