Hi all,
Just bought some 275/35/20 tyres for my T6 T30 camper. Just wondering what pressure ppl use on a T30 with a camper weight conversion? The guys at transporter HQ mentioned it's the perfect size tyre for rubber/comfort on a 20inch wheel for a T30 if your not on a so low setup >100mm drop...
Not sure you can do that legally/safely? When I said tyrepressures in my first post I meant what pressures are you using? My '07 Kombi was very harsh when I picked it up (13 years ago) until I discovered the tyres were on recommended pressures i.e. to cope with 1.2 tonne of bricks in the back...
I am also running running Yokohama 235/55 R18 AT tyres on a T32 4Motion, but I can't find a recommended tyrepressure anywhere. What tyrepressures would you recommend?
Wheel sensors that is how my system operates T6 Caravelle, by detecting a change between wheel speed rotation and a persistent anomaly will be brought up. Some vehicles I understand have actual pressure monitors within the wheel tyre. When we change tyres to a different size be it wheel plus...
Set of Maxxis Premitra all-season tyres 235/50/18 101W tyres on Sportline alloy wheels, suit VW Transporter
Wheels could do with being refurbished as coating inside is poor. No buckles nor cracks, hold air pressure fine.

Evening!
Over the last couple of days I keep getting tyrepressure warnings on my van. It’s a T6 running 20s.
The first time I checked and set the pressures to 41psi although all wheels seemed to be at a similar pressure. I’ve since set them to 41psi and each time the warning comes on I check...
Yes I agree: @Ricardo T I think your pressures are possibly STILL too high!
See my reply above to Green Giant who is also on 17” GGs…
…or run your numbers through tiresize.com’s pressure calculator yourself.
(You can use your door jamb recommendations to give a *known* starting wheel size and...
Has anyone had the tyrepressure warning come up on their cluster? Yesterday I got a bong noise while going round the M25 but no warning for anything on the display. When I reached my destination I plugged in VCDS and had a tyrepressure low warning. Bit of an issue if the warning doesn't show up!
I have no knowledge of AI. Using US data for ratio is one thing but do remember that Pounds in the USA a not quite the same value as they are here it is the same with many US verses Imperial measurement units I suppose the most reliable measurement units are metric kg, km, Bar, little or no...
...gives a load rating of 778kg which is above T28 requirements and 45psi is 843kg. Happy days.
What i still need to find out is if the Coopers have a max of 50psi and are load rated at 1083kg at that pressure, what constitutes a minimum tyrepressure for even tyre wear. Time to contact Coopers
think it is the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) that plays a pivotal role in standardizing the dimensions and specifications of tyres, rims, and valves across Europe.
...tyre spec that was asked for in a comparator and the new tyre also in the comparator. The tyre comparator would then generate the new tyrepressures for the new tyre. So it a case of looking at various tyre sizes for the rim sizes that you suggest and you will be able to see what tyre spec...
These look just perfect to me. The wheel & tyre combo. Can you comment on the ride, what tyrepressures you are using, the handling compared to steels, noise? Many thanks
Well it appears plain, the pressure has been provided for you why ask the question. Mostly questions are asked when no figure for the new size of tyre has been provided by the vehicle manufacturers sticky.
I would check inside your door pillar for a sticker showing tyre sizes and the appropriate air pressures. Mine shows two pressures for each size valid on the vehicle - one pressure for unladen and one for fully laden. As I have a T28 but my van, fully converted, weighs 2260kg I interpolate the...
