...my if this is worth it? Seems a bit pricy for a California of that age.
A mate is looking at it, I don’t know anything about the issue with the 180 engines. He does seem to be giving a lot of information about the van. Good or bad...
I need to ask what is potentially a daft question, I have an LPS II 3000 just plonked in the back of the van, it's connected to 180 watt solar panel, the battery is 98%. What happens to the excess production from the panel, heat perhaps. I'm wondering if I should plug something in to protect the...
As the crank sensor pick up is in the rear main seal have I messed up aligning the seal? Should the centre of the oil seal align with the blind hole on the crank end rather than 180' opposite?
...around witht he damping on the front shocks.
On balance, I think they provided a better (for me at least) balance of comfort and handling with 180 degrees of extra damping adjustment (180 degree anticlockwise turn on the adjuster). The effect seemed to be to improve settling after cornering...
...sensors, bearing and bottom ball joints.
These would be a perfect upgrade for anyone looking to install T32 coilovers or even to refresh their current setup for nearly new.
Looking for £180 for the pair collection from NE13 (Newcastle upon Tyne) or can post if buyer arranges courier at cost.
...has only been opened to take the pictures.
These are a really high quality panel and thanks to the rear (underside) cable only sit less than 1cm above your roofline.
Current retail price is £280 - Save yourself £100 and buy mine for £180
Collection only from myself Just outside Mold, North...
Yeah it’s in good condition, I did advertise it on the forum a week or so ago, and pictures on there, I’m just outside wetherby West Yorkshire at the side of the A1 , advertised at £180 but I’ll take £150,
Yes, that kind of switch will "identify" itself as a switch outside tailgate.
Just put a 180 ohm resistor in series to make it act as an OEM switch inside - enabling to open tailgate from inside even when van is locked (of course it still won't unlock safe-locked van)
Hey Jetrebel. I'm kinda feeling your pain, and you are not alone.
I previously had a stock 2014 180 BiT DSG Highline Kombi for 8 years, and loved it (15k to 100k miles over the period). But due to the known issue with EGR & oil usage issues, it sadly went, and now got a 2019 T6 150 DSG...
...about DPF issues, and they were saying that the dpf is too far away from the engine to get hot unless on bigger distance trips. I have a CFCA 180 4m with a new engine, turbos, DPF and blanked and mapped out EGR and I'm watching the dpf like a hawk. Nice long journeys it all works like a...
...parts on the market, stick with OEM.
Normally I remove wheels and take to the tyre fitters as the competition factor often means they are time monitored and don’t bother with a torque wrench.
You are more likely to have some success with a T bar using torque applied evenly at 180 degrees.
Yes, I see what you mean. I've ordered a Renogy 200W panel and see how it goes when it arrives. It's getting the time to do things at the moment. FWIW Renogy 200W Flex panel going for £180 on the Renogy site v £210 on Amazon. See, now I feel like I've saved money :D
The 180bhp engine has a reputation for reliability issues. So the garage are advising you correctly. If it’s smoking you will be clogging the dpf, depending upon how much oil it’s using.
if it’s a keeper, you will be replacing the engine and whatever is not re-useable. Hopefully it’s not really...
