    Ply floor and insulation installation

    I can only answer from my experience. Sound deadening not worth much as there are not many big flat areas, so you add weight for little benefit. Insulation is worth it - my floor has an XPS laminate layer included. Other folks will have a different view though.

    @DXX Yeah agreed spot on. My pro conversion has no underfloor insulation either. The 12mm ply and vinyl covering is sufficient for insulating.
