I have egr delete with DPF and Ad Blue still in place. Been like that for 27 months and well over 20k miles with no issues.

Got a quote from another dealer for an EGR flush of £408.00 they also quoted £1709.00 to replace EGR, I am going to ask the first dealer to quote to replace EGR.

I had the same code recently, garage I took the van to reckoned readings didn’t suggest a clogged EGR, on further investigation he found a split in the EGR to exhaust manifold rear pipe which he replaced along with new gaskets. He did show me the part complete with split. Time will tell but so...

Oh wow that’s interesting. How about your DPF? Did you have that removed too? And I take it no MOT issues by having the EGR deleted?

I spoke with a pro egr delete guy called Matt at UKCC auto techs. I'm still not convinced it's the best idea, but he was sure it wouldn't have anything other issues with adblue or dpf as he says they are unrelated. Said he's done 100s. Sales pitch most likely . I'm Brighton based

Yeah as green giant said, get it all done when funds allow. My EGR went and it had to be done but got the belt done for piece of mind really.

I'm also noticing similar with my 2019 Kombi. EGR pipe replaced last October. Drove it all winter with no codes appearing. Now bit of warmer weather & P0401 code is back.
