    What Have You Bought Today?

It was nice toast. You need to keep it on low heat and keep an eye on it. I also moved the slices about so the edges got toasted too. It’s just a single slice it does but packs away flat. I’ve seen others that do 3 or 4 slices at a time on a gas stove but not sure if they work as well...

    Folding BBQ/Firepit

Just bought one of these after using an old round camping one that we got in the middle of Lidl years ago. https://proqsmokers.co.uk/products/proq-flatdog Build quality is incredible for the money paid for it and it folds flat (massive winner for van packing)!

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

@Panch think flat pack furniture cnc cut lightweight ply. They do need a good sanding. Ran out of light today to investigate fixing them to the lashing points. Will update when I sus it out.

    Dellmassive`s Camper Van Adventure

-- 50w Solar panel to keep the van alive -- not having any solar wasn't the full truth. . . . being camping before with my other T6, i knew full well that the starter battery would be flat after camping in the van for a long weekend. +++ opening and closing doors, locking and unlocking...

    Run flats

We have an elderly labrador, we have wide plate side boards on our van to give him an extra step up! A trolley jack is the only thing that will go under! Even they were a pain for the guys fitting new tyres! When the old boy pops off then I can re-visit proper side bars and alternative jacks! I...

    NoCo Boost GB70 Success

Great endorsement. After a week in Ireland camping and waiting at the ferry port to return our t6 failed to start. Low battery! - completely out of the blue. Got a jump to get on the boat, so will definitely be getting a GB70 for trips now. Cheers

Can anyone recommend a decent AGM charger that will also jump start/charge from flat?

The other way around this is to use a jump pack, booster pack connected to the flat battery.... Then connect the battery charger.... It will detect the booster pack voltage and then start charging at the correct rate... This is a quick hack for super flat lifepo4 batteries.... Where they shut...

Starter battery - tips when camping?

You can turn the auto front head lights off via the switch. And disable driving lights with handbrake on via VCDS... (A must tweek for camping) ... The battery will go flat eventually without any top-up charge over a weekend. So look at adding a small 5-10A charger for starter.(if EHU...

    CandyVan conversion journey

Floor done now. So many layers, levels and bevels to get to a flat plane. Only front and rear edge trim and rear threshold to do. Caravelle step is in, and the light works. I think it needs a bit of packing underneath.

    Using a NOCO jump starter

Yip same with me. Regularly use this feature. I have seen where the Noco does not have 2 bars of power in it left, it struggling to boost, I then posted that it took more than 5 mins charging on other vehicle before it would jump..... I can confirm that my battery would be flat as a pancake...

    What Have You Bought Today?

So, after taking a break from charging while we were out, the battery is charged (it took 3 hours from all but flat to fully charged). The Ecoflow has 59% left. Here is the before and after from the app.

Interior light connectors - male and female

Yes I got it sorted, added the pins and wires it all up. The male socket was from EBay and came as a pack of two. Search - Fit For Transporter T5 T6 Crafter Interior Reading Courtesy Map Light Wire 2pc. That’s how it was listed. I needed to extend the cables so I cut off the socket and re...

    My Sportline Journey

...one made up and installed. Took me around 4-5 hours in the end. Transporter HQ done a video on YouTube which explains how to do it from flat pack but Ovano have improved on the product so some of the video is irrelevant. Now I’ve had a couple of beers and a tidy up and very happy with the...

    Loose external sliding door handle

Job done Didn’t use the Allen key I was anticipating, too big. Funnily enough I had one of those cheap crappy Allen keys that come with flat pack furniture lying about. Went straight in, clipped in nicely, and I’ve put a blob of silicone on. Handle is tight and working like a dream. Hurrah!!
