Except removing any/all of those things is illegal. Egr and ad blue are just software solutions. Dpf involves physical work in altering the dpf internals. If it gets discovered and fails it’s mot you’ll have to shell out a couple of grand for a new one. I’d leave the dpf alone.

There is an early T6 euro 5 pre ad-blue but isn’t ulez compliant same as early T5 Tsi is obvs petrol so best of both worlds They didn’t run for long so are pretty rare now but they are out there

When you say "the max the tank will take" do you mean the maximum that the MFD is asking for, or you brim fill the Ad-Blue tank until it won't take anymore?

DON’T put more than 0.75gallon in (3litres ish). Follow the top up procedure to the letter.

Might be worth expanding on this event a bit. Sounds like a possible culprit.
