By a local garage clears issue for around 300miles then dpf light appears and clears a few days later seems to be a cycle eventually dpf light goes out and flashing coil and engine management light comes on

When you deleted the DPF, did you physically remove the guts of the DPF or just delete it in the software?

I’ve jus come to check the DPF after it’s overnight marination, there’s what looks like some sort of vortex generator inside the AdBlue injector hole. Surely this cannot aid airflow?!

So you can keep the dpf but remove the egr and adblue without any issues (as long as tuner knows what he is doing)?

Back pressure from a blocked DPF starving it . Sounds reasonable.

As MMI says, it may cause the DPF to not do regens, and if that is the case depending on how many miles you will do between now and June, I probably wouldn't leave it that long.
