With all the really useful info on here I think I am definitely going to go for EGR blanking and delete for my T6.
Any suggestions for where to get it done in Sussex?
I've just been querying the same thing... Had a similar response from dark side but a bit cheaper. (Presume as it's a 150 CXFA)
"The EGR Delete Kit would need to be installed, we have it listed here - £185.00+VaT - VW Transporter T6 2.0 TDI EGR and Cooler Delete Kit

Good morning all
regarding the quote , annoyingly one of my fleet vans i purchased had what i believe to be adblue delete, the countdown is ---- , how is this done , is it mapped out and how easy to reverse this .
van is due mot soon and also don't really want it deleted for legal reasons
So my van has a Pendle remap. The EGR valve has died. The garage says they could just do a delete but it’d need mapping out but they can’t do it as my van is already remapped. Is there now way round this or do I have to get a new EGR?
Excuse the repeat pictures! On my phone and it just won't let me delete them even though I edit, delete and save! I work in IT to make things even worse
It was on recommendation from the tuner, a very a reputable one. I went for a EGR delete, engine and DSG map.
But instead left with a start/stop, adblue and EGR delete and the dsg map. Left the engine map due to the uncertainty of my turbo.
I’m afraid I can’t give any more information than...
The soot goes to the DPF regardless.
The EGR lowers NOx gas emissions by lowering combustion temperatures. If anything that increases the propensity for an engine to emit soot. EGR deletion does nothing to adversely affect the DPF as far as soot is concerned.
