Okies, I pick up my van on Friday and have bought the diamond Disklok and will have the 'bear lock' fitted soon. I've spoken to Dav-Tec and they've advised against having the Ghost Immobiliser fitted due to problems with having Metrak and Ghost installed and 3 different systems to work together...

Do you work for Disklok?... You know you can get these things off with relative ease with the correct tools right? I bought it as a first line of defence, more so visual and the opportunistic scroat to help prevent the inevitable damage to door locks prior to finding out they can't get the van...

Nope it's already here and most definitely small. Hopefully you (both) get yours sorted. I was a bit surprised however that I could still grip the steering wheel from the back of the disklok. It would definitely be a hindrance to drive, but stop completely...:confused::whistle:

Ours is a disklok and it works well for us and as advised by a fellow T6 forumite it stores really well if pushed in flat in between the two front seats under the handbrake hope that helps

Fair enough - I don't pretend to know the specifics of your use case, only [what I believe to be] the most secure steering wheel lock on the market. In terms of an immobiliser and tracker, I can personally recommend a Meta Trak S5 Deadlock Pro, which combines both functions, plus OBD port...

The MetaTrak has an immobiliser as part of it. I didn't advise against ghost. Perhaps you misunderstood I advised against having both, Ghost has its place but it's not for everyone and can be problematic with new users.
