    Bear Lock Question

...locks the selector in Park and does what it says on the tin. I'm very happy and it's one less 'thing' to be carrying around in the van. The Disklok is weighty enough and I hook that in the carry bag onto the arm rest. Very happy with the install, very neat, quite low down, compared to the...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Sick of the Disklok sliding around in the footwell… so I spent an hour making a very ad hock temporary solution whilst I plan the build. Screwed it to the hardboard panel and even managed to find some paint in the shed that’s almost the same unpleasant colour as the interior.

    Steering Wheel Lock

To the Disklok in general. The Gold is fairly recent, just minor tweaks to increase lock reliability. The Diamond only came out a few months ago and has a special steel blend in key areas to resist angle grinder attack, but for all these improvements I - and we as a team - never came across...

    STOLEN T6 !!!!!!!!!!!

Just been looking at the diskloks, there are yellow ones and silver ones, the yellow being dearer. Are the yellow ones higher spec?

    T6.1 Steering Wheel Disc-Lock

...non-visual are actually attempted. I suspect those with only such things as immobilisers are broken into more than those which posess visible diskloks and the like. Be interested in your knowledge on that as someone who was in the job. The majority of scum are simply that, thick as grease...

    T6.1 Steering Wheel Disc-Lock

Yes as I say, visual deterrent. If I hadn't spent almost £300 on it, I'd take your up on the offer just to make an interesting video

Van Security, Steering lock or pedal lock

Disklok personally. Nothing against pedal locks but they're not effective until after a potential thief has already broken into your van whereas the Disklok is visible, so would potentially deter the thief before they damage the locks/doors. The "small" Disklok fits the T6 steering wheel.

Reverse Pop layout - Storage idea's

You'll need a small Disklok for a Transporter. Also, between the seats works well if you have 2x captains seats, but probably won't fit there if you have a double passenger seat.

Beefing Up Your Vans Security - How I Done It -

@zippy1148, I don't know about that specific pedal lock, but you've got the right idea with your multiple-layers-of-security approach. To @roadtripper's point re visibility, hopefully your Stoplock will provide this, though it isn't as visible as, say, a Disklok.

Beefing Up Your Vans Security - How I Done It -

I have a DSG version of the ATE and I have a Disklok steering wheel lock. The Disklok gets used every time we exit the van, but the the ATE only gets used when we leave the van home alone for an extended period of time. The ATE is a sturdy, well-engineered bit of kit and, IMO, a thief would...

    Steering Wheel Lock

@Sasquatch, it's great to have your professional insight on the use of a Disklok. When you say no vehicle successfully stolen with one, are you referring specifically to the diamond version or just to the Dislock in general? I have a non-diamond version as my "visible deterrent", but I have...

    STOLEN T6 !!!!!!!!!!!

+1 for the Disklok, you’ll need the small sized one. I would also recommend a Ghost immobiliser, doesn’t matter if they’ve got the keys, they’re not driving off in your van if you have one of these fitted.

    What Have You Bought Today?

I brought a disklok recently just for a reassurance

Where do you keep your security key?

I'm not surprised. The Disklok can be put on and locked without a key. I use mine across a number of cars, and have several times come close to locking it on a car with the key hundreds of miles away. Pete
