Tracker needed for insurance? or needed for good price?

If you get the Disklok it's worth paying extra for the carry bag. I keep one handle hooked over the inside armrest on the drivers seat and it makes it simple to stash the lock when removed.

I'm a cheapskate, a stoplock pro for me, and an S5 tracker/immobiliser to make me happier! Metatrak is potentially the most well regarded, I have a Global Telemetrics system, does the job, but Meta all the way... Makes the insurance companies happier too!

New owner of a T6.1 in Cornwall seeks advice

...near Redruth and am thinking about a Thinkware u3000dash front and back cam and a scorpion S7 tracker via Trackershop at the mo. Already have the Disklok and a big dog  Ps I'm devouring info on here like nobody's business, some is really helpful , other stuff is wicked mad funny . love it.

    Another failed flexible solar panel

Ah, the old Bond villain cheese wire technique versus the bread knife, @wallport can almost get a disklok off with a butter knife though.

Where do you store your Disklok

I have the Disklok storage bag and it fits nicely between and slightly forward of the front seats (I've a two seater cockpit set up.) It wedges in nicely and is easy for me to reach.

    Immobiliser query’s

None of that electronic malarkey gets past a Disklok. We had occasions where we've had CCTV of the little sheets sneaking up to a vehicle with their black boxes in their hands, spotted the Dislok, shaken their heads and had a quick discussion, and then cleared off. Quite often they'd then steal...

    Steering Wheel Lock

Disklok has a new steering wheel cover on the market (gold) with anti angle grinder material. Would be interesting to see a test of its ability to withstand attack https://disklokuk.co.uk/product/disklok-gold-edition/ RRP £150 - £160.

    Immobiliser around £250

The only two I'd have much faith in are liable to chime in around double that, in particular the Clifford Blackjax with anti hijack. The most effective method of immobilisation within your budget is the Disklok, which doesn't sound like what you're after.

    Vangauardian alarm

Already got a Disklok on mine the bright yellow one, and locked behind a six foot steel gate and camera, so without being paranoid, I saw Vangauardian as an extra precaution as this goes off as a warning, just by trying the door handle and if they persist goes into full alarm mode hopefully...

What’s the best anti theft device?

Something visible like a Disklok and something invisible like a Ghost immobiliser.

Van Security, Steering lock or pedal lock

Can you please provide a photo ;)

Where do you keep your security key?

Same as above, my Disklok key lives on the same bunch of keys as the van keys, mainly because the Disklok is a visible deterrent, but also so that I don’t put the Disklok on and then remember that the key is on another key ring which happens to be 200 miles away because I forgot to take them...

    Steering Wheel Lock

...with a 100% success rate. We've seen all sorts of locks and gizmos and someone managed to get past all of them at some point, but never a Disklok. As aforementioned above, we'd often see home cctv footage of scumbags walking up a driveway at 3am and eyeballing a disklok and shaking their...

    T6.1 Steering Wheel Disc-Lock

Yet for all that in 7 years as shift sergeant on an autocrime team I (and the team) never came across a Disklok that had been successfully defeated. Quite a few where Billy Light fingers had a go with all sorts of hardware, but none that came anywhere near close to being overcome. Indeed, we...

which steering wheel lock do you recommend

I have been using this system from : https://theftstop.co.uk/bear-lock/ Sounds a clever idea... a bit expensive... but if we care for our vans, we can spent a bit. Have found these locks on Amazon. Quite please with them... got 2 for my Van and my Car. ARTAGO 870 High-End Steering Wheel Lock...

    After market immobiliser

...isn't daft and knows the common places to tap in to the vehicle and will look there first, so you want an installer with some nouse. +1 for Disklok. Relatively inexpensive, and more than once I've seen cctv of villains approaching a vehicle, spotting a Disklok, shaking their heads and...
