    Disclok, gold or diamond?

For completeness of this post, I did end up getting the diamond disklok in the end. I decided to swallow the cost and sleep a bit easier at night! 🤞 Anyway, the cost of it has been over written now, in my mind; as I just got four new winter tyres for my winter wheels 🤔😊 Thanks for replies and...

    After market immobiliser

You can never have too much security. I had a Ghost immobiliser on my van. On my current Golf R I also have a Ghost immobiliser, a Scorpion tracker which also has a built-in immobiliser, I use a Disklok and I've also secreted an Apple Airtag somewhere in it.

    Disclok, gold or diamond?

Security is best done in layers. The gold Disklok is a good lock and a fantastic visual deterrent. The Diamond version adds a bit more anti grinder material but probably won’t add any more visual deterrent- if a thief has decided to have a go when you have a gold version fitted then they are...

Where do people store their DiskLok when driving?

Off topic, but where do you put your Disklok when driving, please?

which steering wheel lock do you recommend

There are a few videos on Pooptube and the like, of folk claiming it would be easy to steal a DiskLok equipped vehicle because it can be driven in a straight line, but none show the narrator taking a corner or a roundabout. You cant even get off my driveway without taking a 90° turn and, trust...

which steering wheel lock do you recommend

Disklok every time. Just becomes a habit to put it on every night and even if I leave it on a carpark. It’s peace of mind knowing that your pride and joy will still be there when you come back. Small size fits easily on standard T6 wheel, just chuck it in the footwell when it’s not in use.

    STOLEN T6 !!!!!!!!!!!

Forget the Stoplock. I know how to remove those very quickly, and a well practised scumbag can do it in seconds. Disklok is where peace of mind lies.

@Iron Giant, personally, I wouldn't bother with the Milenco steering lock or the Halfords gizmo - get a Disklok instead, preferably a diamond edition if your finances can stretch to one. You'll need size 'small' for a Transporter and, if you have twin captain's seats, it's easily stored when...

    Visible Security

...products, but straightforward to overcome so likely won't provide much of a visual deterrent to anything more than the most casual Scumbag. Disklok is the one if you want a visual deterrent. More than once when had a gang of scumbags on CCTV kitted up with the relay gear, but when then...

Tracker needed for insurance? or needed for good price?

    Steering Wheel Lock

Very reassuring, I've always thought that the Disklok looks a lot more substantial than the Stoplok type things.

As above, plus... immobiliser electric driveway gate/bollard driveway floodlighting CCTV coverage 2 x hungry Rottweilers Razor wire  Seriously though, I can personally recommend a Meta Trak (combined immobiliser/tracker), a Disklok (size small for a Transporter) and an ATE pedal lock.

    Disclok, gold or diamond?

...grinder out of a carrier bag, cut the the lock and gone; pretty much all before anyone, myself included could react! That was a few years ago, now cheap cordless cutters and very effective discs are more widely available! Best I can get at the moment is a 5% discount, from disklok themselves…
