What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Removed the 100W Flexi Solar panel that came with the van, it has given up after 8 years so not too bad! Need to clean the roof and remove all traces of the bonding adhesive, next step fit a 150W rigid Solar panel over the next couple of weeks

    Solar Panel - 200w - All Black

Those are quite pricey - I'll take a look but might have to settle for a cheaper one. Renogy do a nice one but it's only 100w

Renogy briefcase style solar only 1 amp output

Don't know if this helps but this is my figures for the day from a 100w portable jackery panel mounted on my dash, feeding a Victron smart solar and charging SB and LB. Obviously the panel has to receive sunlight through the glass so that will knock it a bit.....

Using a 100 leisure battery and Jackery Exporer 1000

This is something I have explored with my Jackery 500 , 100w Jackery folding panel and leisure battery. Although my battery is not Lithium. Plug the vans hook-up lead into the Jackery 500, plug in the solar panel to the jackery and sit back and relax. I also have a fly lead so the solar panel...

Solar Charging Leisure battery through EHU

No reason at all. I've just done this with my Jackery and 100w folding solar. Tested the Jackery through the EHU, all works fine, so can plug solar in as it is doing that. For flexibility, I have added a solar controller with fly lead and battery connection so the panel can go direct to battery...

A couple of solar panels going £120 cheap(er)

I have fly leads fitted and a 100W folding panel for this exact scenario. Which is just as well as am about to go away and I think my 150W roof panel is dying Cloudless sunny day. 150W Roof panel only: And with the 100W folding panel deployed as well: I will replace the roof panel (was...

    Solar not Charging through CTEK

I don’t know what model you have fitted, but at least some Allpowers 100W solar panels available now seem to be 30V open circuit. This is well outside the CTEK spec. Simon

    Portable Power

I've just sold a Dokio 200W portable panel (Amazon) and previously had the Renogy 100W suitcase. Both decent, but the Dokio was about half the price of Renogy (£115 for 200W incl. PWM, Prime deal) and similar performance levels, pulled about 10.6A through the panel in UK sunlight. Would recommend.

    Induction hob recomendations

I bit the bullet and purchased the Duxtop one, must admit quite impressed with it power wise it goes lower than any of the other induction hobs 100w lowest setting as opposed to 200w on the other one. Tested it indoors at home for a week and had no problems cooking with it. The only critisism is...
