Strange....all 3 of my dsg vans have had the microswitch replaced under warranty. Every time the dealers have explained that the switch is inside the lever housing...that an e van doesn't have (or does it?) Watching with interest

My 2019 T6.1 T32 DSG has started coming up with this fault. It goes away within a few minutes of driving or even seconds. My local garage lifted the gator saw a Black microswitch - order the black repair kit (its a choice of black or white repair kit for DSG)....Guess what it doesnt fit...

Yeah the module does not fit the transporter. HOWEVER! You can open up the unit and replace the switch. Just done mine. Total cost…..£10

Assuming this is a correctly worded ad and it is indeed a e-ABT then it appears it does have a gear lever...
