As the title says really... When I fade my T6.1 audio to the rear speakers my sub-woofer cuts out and it's just the rear speakers that I can hear.
Seems really odd to me. Anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks! D
...get access to the rear speaker mixer working on head unit - im near stoke if anyone’s around that area to do that for me. Prob looking more a speaker upgrade rather than a full head unit too at this point in time, maybe with subwoofer if that can be done with the standard fit ? Thanks in...
Technically it was the weekend, but added 100w of solar and a sharkfin DAB/GPS aerial...
Plus a subwoofer (Amazon) heated seat elements (eBay) and a bit more sound proofing while I had the floor mats up.
Just bought the mpk 165.3, I’ve already deadened my doors (both panels). Just that made a TON of difference with the stock speakers.
I was hoping to revive the thread with a couple questions.
Where do the wires split to tweeter and woofer from the head unit? I’d like to put the crossover there...
Hi
Following the advice I found on this forum, I changed my T6.1 oem front door speakers for a pair of Gladen One, and also did a throrough 3 tier sound deadening of the doors. I have no sub nor back speakers.
The result is much better, my ears don't hurt anymore ;)
But still, I find the highs...

Very popular T6.1 hot/cold flap arm replacement

Hugely popular Gladen Appearance speaker upgrade

I pointed you towards the CTEK as you wanted to retain the nearly new AGM battery, leave room for a subwoofer but wanted the future option of solar and lithium.
Also the thread from r00ps has a good walk through of a simple change from stock using a CTEK.
If you want to do solar now then...
Hi all,
I have a question for the audio gurus which I guess is on the same topic as this thread.
I have an Audison 5.600 with Hertz Mille Pro MP 165.3 woofers and Mille Pro MP 25.3 tweeters, and a CS 250 S2 10" subwoofer.
Installed diy a while ago and does sound good but not sure I ever set...
Finished the custom duel audison 8" sub /woofer box under rear seats, feeding from the sub channel on the Prima 5.9 bridged to 2 ohm, OMG I seriously prefer these than subs as its seriously beefed up the lower end in the back of the van
...couple months back. New pads fitted at the same time. Upgraded suspension fitted at a cost of 2k earlier this year. Upgraded speakers and subwoofer fitted. Captains seat passenger seats. Mains power connector, leisure battery, solar panel to top up leisure battery. TV and Xbox fitted. Sink...

Regarding fader balance would effect the signal reducing 3dB half the power output from that channel. It's not a linear thing where by increasing the opposite side by 3db would counteract it as the amp is still recieving less overall signal.
I would check polarity of the input as reversing...
I am an idiot so have one of these for sale because I was impatient - they RRP for £379
It has no original box and has a small scratch on the grille (see pic) - they face down so not visible when fitted - £240 inc insured P&P
Less than a month old, sound fantastic, working perfectly, ready...
One option is put a small sub-woofer behind the offside centre panel, never to be seen again. Would be good for the drivers audio imaging. I could just put the old woofers in there and close the panel, although pedestrians might hear it better than me!
...think it is going to be impossible as in the passenger seat I have the 220v charger and big switch, so I believe there is no room for the subwoofer at least I move everything from the passenger seat to the driver seat (I dont have the time to a big change like that now).
I want to do solar...
I just think the Mille Pro and the Morel stuff sounds smoother and respond better. Don't get me wrong I've done installs with them but if I'm asked it's not my first thought.
Right lets start here despite the kit above I'm bargain basement lets just say I got lucky with the speakers...I drive a 2006 T5, I like music I play and record have some base knowledge of sound. I've probably deadened my doors within an inch of their life outer skin iner skin just going...
