Oil Pressure warning CFCA (I know)

Perhaps better to rely on CFCA engine manufacturer's workshop manual, p.182 https://www.t6forum.com/downloads/caac-caab-caac-cfca-diesel-engine-workshop-manual.289/ Test conditions • Engine oil level OK. • Engine oil temperature at least 80 °C • Oil pressure at idling speed: at least 0.6 bar...

Oil Pressure warning CFCA (I know)

...if this looks ok, I'm now asking myself why it came on in the first place? Could it have been really old, shitty oil? Oil was 2/3 up the dipstick before changing. I've almost got a distrust of the van due to its reputation, but I'm semi-confident I don't have the common issue with the CFCA...

    CFCA Anxiety

Morning All, I've got a T5.1 T32 180 (2012 -70k miles), all was right with the world until I started chatting to a mechanic while we were both waiting for a tyre change. I've never heard the word "engine" and "hand grenade" used in the same sentence so frequently. As a result, I now assume the...

I left it very late to reserch!

Rev D EGR is better than the previous versions but not a remedy, as my previous post regarding Tafmet emulator Plus oil change history, as with all the BiTurbo engine variants; 7-10K mile interval, anything more than 10K run away.

how can tell which model engine is in my T6

...didn’t fix the issue. At 60K miles if the engine isn’t consuming oil you may have a chance to prevent engine damage. Have a Search on Tafmet, CFCA and oil analysis. Once the EGR is taken care of the engine and bi-turbo unit are very reliable providing oil change services are done at 8-9K miles.

Diesel Knock - Driving me insane! HELP!

excellent however there is only one downside to an egr delete , and its well documented , a slight ( barely noticeable) reduction in low down torque. Everything else about an egr delete as we know is a win win . especially the part where it just puts clean air in for combustion .lol but this is...

    - 204ps Bi-Turbo CXEB T6 Engine & Turbo problems -

I should have asked what the oil hours were. Soot Caution level is 1% and Critical Limit is 2%. I’m typically getting 0.7% soot with 7K miles (NO EGR) on a 180ps CFCA, no oil consumption (dipstick). ‘Loosing’ the EGR makes a massive difference in soot levels.

    2016 T6 Automatic 180bhp emotion. I'm not sure ??

...the UK the average car only survives 10.5 years, which gives you some idea of the life its probably already led. Heed the advice above re the CFCA unit, and if you do decide that you would like to purchase get it professionally inspected by the AA or RAC. The list of things they will...

    Vw t6 cxfa p0299

Mines is a cxfa engine If you remove the corrugated pipe that normally breaks at the front You will see the sensor I think it has 2 torx bolts. If you remove the throttle flap housing with mine it was chocked up with oily sludge. When I took out the sensor it was chocked up. But so was behind...
