Mine shuts the window by holding the lock button on the fob. Same with opening when holding unlock.
I think this only works if you set comfort lock on the windows first by using the door switches to fully open then press open again then close then press close again.
Hope the dealer finds the...
The windows need resetting after the battery disconnecting.
The old, close and hold.... Open and hold - repeat.
Then the one touch window open and close will work.
And the comfort open/close will work on the remote control. (Press and hold)
Hi Everyone, this is my first post since joining the T6 Forum and I look forward to your help and support.
I recently bought a T6.1 from a friend and have started down the conversion path doing most of the work myself hopefully.
I have now reached the point of no return; cut the side panels out...
Going to be installing a pair of rear 3/4 dummy windows over the next few weeks. Bought full kit and trims from THQ.
Have watched the install videos and feel relatively comfortable doing so.
On the sliding door side, do you need to install any differently to accommodate the opening door or do...
That setting has nothing to do with windows, you are going to create problems for yourself if you start messing with random things
Check the long coding think there may be an option for windows there, it comes under comfort settings, you may be able to just untick the comfort option in the long...
It wasn't working... but I figured it out. The comfort option with windows and mirrors is reactivated when you do a long press unlock - windows come down all the way if you hold unlock long enough. Then press and hold lock shuts the windows if you hold it down long enough and this also...
Thanks Alied, long coding option, accessing Byte 3 and un-ticking Bit 5 has worked.
Window operation via remote control has been disabled, and no other 'comfort' settings are affected.
That is what I wanted to achieve - to remove the security risk associated with accidental opening of windows.
My 2016 van wouldn't fold on the key until I coded it in. That was with comfort close already on the windows.
I'd be interested to know how to fold in the mirrors with a short/one shot press.
Hi Wolfy and others that read this.
I completely removed the recycled plastic bottle insulation as it did tend to hold the water though obviously nothing like fibreglass insulation would.
I have left the closed cell insulation on the inside of the outer skin and in fairness it is below the bed...
Folding bracket for comfort is one thing but I drive everywhere with seat folded. The view out of the sliding door window is amazing when at junctions. I keep stuff on there when driving. I like having a convenient table to write notes, write cards and wrap presents. When sat in the back having...
I’ve disconnected the battery to fit my new steering wheel but the auto windows dont work and also the windows on the key fob don’t either?
I can’t remember the process to get it all back up and running again?
Please help
Cheers
...camera came on - albeit briefly once at the weekend, then switched back to park pilot. Guess that means it’s not a coding issue but a loose connection maybe? Any idea where to start? Will a scanner help? Quite happy to get a scanner as would like to disable comfortwindows for a start! Tks
Yes, the one-touch windows have to be programmed for the comfort features to work - disconnecting the battery for example will result in the need to re-do. Easy to do, the steps will have been listed 1000 times on here if you search, save me typing it out 😂
Do your windows work one touch (automatic open or close) from the window buttons - or just the hold down comfort close on the keyfob?
If not try resetting this, if the windows have lost that calibration then usually the mirrors will not fold...
