    Help to find these connectors

@BRABUS is it actually a Sargent bit of equipment you are plugging in to - it's not clear from the thread. Any model numbers / manufacture names may help. As an aside found this gem that confirmed my suspicions about the other connectors they seem to use, but not the one in question...

    Life after a T6 camper

...converted the van over to a Lithium leisure battery, with appropriate Victron solar and B2B chargers. You have to work around the installed Sargent equipment, which can be fun when it is installed behind panels etc. It looks like Autotrail have moved with the times, and the latest vehicles...

Sargent + Leisure Battery Charging Help

Not a fan of the Sargent. On my EC155 instructions there is a warning that the unit may become hot when under load and no combustibles should be placed near it and that it will automatically switch off if it detects overheating. Given the notice I cannot fathom why it was installed the...

    Sargent PSU

Hi Guys and Gals, new to campervans and have one that has a Sargent EC176 PSU installed. Everything seems to work OK, Fridge on 12v or 240v, lights etc just want to know if it should be left switched on all the time? There is a red switch which I presume is 240v and a green one which I think is...

Direct charge from 240v hook up to Fogstar 105ah Lithium Battery

Personally I’d put a normal 13A 3-pin switched socket onto the Sargent cable and keep the moulded UK plug on the ip65. For the 12v side you can hardwire a quick release connector (a fused one is about £8 from 12voltplanet - pic below) to plug the ip65 into. This way the unit is removable to be...

i am only away for long weekend mostly for park up- batteries hold ok for 3 or 4 nights- compressor fridge and Diesel heater are the big drain. Just recently got the Solar hook up wired up- still to try out in summer The Sergent Ec155 spec says mainy for Lead acid- it might charge the agm's but...

    Charging via Sargent EC155

May seem a daft question. Hooked up to the mains to charge the leisure battery. I have the EC155 unit switched on. Does the control panel need to be switched on also? Also, does the vehicle battery recharge whilst hooked up?

    Leisure power upgrade

That’s the big MPPT arrived and I’m not sure what size of power cable I need for it or what size of fuse ? I need to attach the Sargent to my fused busbar and I’m not sure what size of fuse to use for that either? The Sargent has its own breakers and fuses for everything that’s attached to it...

    Sargent EC50 alarming

...a charger and that might be the issue. I had an alarm come on mine when on charge via the EHU lead. Had a look at the charger and I had a Sargent EC155 charger (big grey thing - with a fuse panel) and when I wanted to charge thought it had to be swiched on with the big red button on. That’s...

    Various electrical issues!

...work out where the Towbar fuse would be. Have the light bulb warning light on the dash. Not sure if this is relevant, but leisure battery is completely dead / getting replaced soon. No fuse for Towbar on the Sargent unit so don’t believe it’s wired through here. Any help appreciated - thanks

I suggest you copy and paste the the thread and ask Sargent, you may well save yourself some time and money.

Should I ditch the Sargent? Please help

Will check it out thanks. I too have very limited success with the search function. It can get frustrating when you are directed to a previous thread that’s like 100 pages long. Your head is fried before you get near the info you are after.

Direct charge from 240v hook up to Fogstar 105ah Lithium Battery

...you'd need to fit an additional RCD and ground effectively having 2 EHU systems - that's not worth the cost, hassle or space in the van. The Sargent type systems are pretty competent and compact 240v consumer units and 12v fuse/switch boxes - the Achilles Heal of that type of system is they...

    Sargent EC30 Control Panel
