VW Self Study Programme, Document 713 - The ABTe Transporter 6.1
Since the demand for electrically powered vans is constantly increasing, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is now also converting the T6.1 Transporter to electric operation. Series-production T6.1 vans are converted into fullyfledged high-voltage vehicles by ABT e-Line GmbH in Kempten. This SSP deals with the significant differences between the series-production T6.1 and the electric T6.1, especially with regard to the scope and design of the high-voltage system.
