Aircon gauge.

What is the attached picture telling me?

I assume I need an Aircon regas but I can't see any reference to this gauge in the manual.

It's estimating the impact that your aircon is having on your fuel economy/efficiency

I.e. currently you are using next to no 'additional' fuel with your AC on

However on hot days and when your AC is roaring away, the 'effect' on consumption 'could' be up to an additional 1/4 gallon of fuel per hour.

There are so many huge variables that this gauge is nearly useless...! Apart from indicating to you that your AC is having slightly more of an impact on fuel economy than it did on the last journey for example there's little to be read from it!!

Wow, I never would have guessed that. It's interesting but if not accurate then almost pointless as you say.
I'll keep an eye on it when I'm in France in the summer!.
